A mother of two young children, Norah Lynn understands the wide range of emotions that can emerge during the transition to parenthood. From excitement and anticipation, to trepidation and fear, to exhilaration and joy – the feelings that we encounter during pregnancy, birth and postpartum can make us feel vulnerable in new and unexpected ways. Norah Lynn is committed to providing non-judgemental and compassionate support to her clients throughout each of these stages.
Prior to becoming a doula, Norah Lynn worked for over fifteen years in public policy, research and government relations, holding leadership roles in both the non-profit sector and the federal government. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
When she is not offering support to new and growing families, Norah Lynn can be found enjoying the outdoors, in her home studio sewing and knitting, and working as a consultant in the non-profit sector.
