Hello!

My name is Charisse (she/her), and I am a proud Auntie, full spectrum doula, and childbirth educator providing culturally sensitive, evidenced-based support for Black and racialized pregnant folks and their families.

When it comes to doula support, I utilize a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive model of care that recognizes the uniqueness of each individual’s reproductive journey and focuses on providing the support you actually need.

I am not here to provide you with all the answers. I am here to educate you on all of your options and allow you to decide what best aligns with you and your family’s needs.

My areas of support include:

  • Birth: ongoing care throughout labour and delivery
  • Postpartum: healing, nourishment, and infant care
  • Grief and Loss: miscarriage, abortion, and stillbirth
  • Childbirth Education: evidenced-based information and comfort measures

I am currently accepting postpartum clients located on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, now known as Ottawa, ON.
