I have been a nurse for over 8 years and I have noticed the disconnect that people have with the healthcare system and with the healthcare system and people. As your Doula I will bridge the gap between both worlds and help to inform you of what happens and what you can do for yourself and your family members.
As a nurse, I know that people are looking for clear, simple information when they’re dealing with magical and heart wrenching life experiences. People need someone to see them as individuals, not patients! Each person needs real care, the kind that goes deeper than a bandaid. These needs are true to everyone no matter if you are bringing someone into this world or someone who is leaving.
As a Doula, I will help translate what’s going on through education & information to ensure your voice and wishes are heard. Help you process, celebrate and comfort you and your family through all hours of the day.
