Hi there! My name is Liz Daher; I’m a married mama of two living in Oakville, Ontario. I am a certified birth doula, and postpartum doula, trained through DONA International, serving the Halton Region and Greater Toronto / Hamilton Area. I’m also a licensed professional engineer, and built a successful career in nuclear engineering, consulting and management. After my own experiences with pregnancy, birth and parenting, I felt strongly called to make a change – to love and support other parents as they navigate the metamorphosis inherent to pregnancy, birth and beyond. Since having my second child I’ve been a volunteer with the Halton Breastfeeding Connection, a local organization that provides peer-to-peer breastfeeding support. In my spare time I love being active – running, yoga, and strength training – listening to personal development podcasts (ask me for my top recommendations!), reading (my goal is 22 books this year!), playing with makeup, drinking all of the coffee, and hiking the Oakville trails with my family.

When babies are born, families are born as well (or expanded!) and each time it is truly a miracle.

I would be honoured to share in your journey and help you define and manifest your ideal experience.

Hiring a doula means letting someone into your intimate space, both physically and emotionally, so it’s important that you feel comfortable, connected, and confident in our ability to establish trust and rapport. Let’s connect to see if we’re a good fit.
