I have always had an interest in understanding human relationships at a deeper level which led me to receive a BSc in Social Policy and Sociology from the London School of Economics. After studying and then working within a corporate environment I knew that this was not what I had envisioned for myself.  I have had over 20 years of experience taking care of babies and felt that it was a natural step to make that into a career in which not only I can help with infant care, but that I can also help parents see their true potential and embrace their new roles.

I had two very positive pregnancies and birth experiences which sparked an interest in my path to becoming a doula. I realized the impact I could have on others who were not having such positive experiences. The birth of my nephew did not go as planned and being able to comfort and guide my sister and be with her throughout the birthing process and postpartum period opened my eyes to how important it is for all parents to have a pillar of unbiased support and encouragement during their journey through parenthood.

Many of the parents and caregivers I have had the pleasure to help have commented on my relaxed nature and ability to bring instant reassurance to the situation at hand. They also truly appreciate that I constantly check in on them even when I am no longer working with them, to ensure that things are going smoothly and everyone is doing well. Many clients have also commented on my attention to detail and ability to read the room.

I am formally trained and certified by ProDoula as a Postpartum and Infant Care Doula and, Labour Doula and VBAC Specialist. I am currently working in person and virtually.
