Every two years the Association of Ontario Doulas will strive to ensure that approved training organizations are consistently meeting standards set and for which your organization was approved on.

This section will revolve around your Postpartum Doula Training. This does not include what would be considered the brief postpartum support received in the capacity of a labour doula. The AOD requires training for Postpartum Doulas to be a completely separate training from their Labour Doula training. The trainings must be hands on in-person trainings that are 16 hrs in length, not including lunch or extended breaks.
